Introduction

As an American breed Anglophile with a love for all things British I decided to start my very first blog with the focus being some of my favorite English bands and musicians, as well as, musicians I’ve just recently discovered from past and present years. I have run a few successful Facebook fan groups over the years for groups like "Tears for Fears" along with a very underrated Bristol band known as, “The Korgis." Two of the founding members from "The Korgis" were actually part of another band in the 70’s which, was known as a prog rock group by the name of “Stackridge” so, they always got their well deserved mention here and there as well! I decided to test my luck and take my love for music and writing both to the next level and start my very own blog. The goal is the write mostly about the older British bands along with some of the newer but, being that I am indeed an American I’ll throw in a few American bands and musicians here and there too! Feedback and that sort of thing is always more than welcome, as well as, highly appreciated being that this is my first blog. Enjoy guys and I hope this is as much fun for you as it is for me! I'll do my best to write one post a day or at least one every other day. We all know how life gets busy but, for me music and my writing are my escape, and both are just equally as important as everything else. It was the same way when I ran the fan groups and I know without a doubt it'll be the same way with running this as well!
